Rockwell Automation have recently launched two new safety switches, the 440G-MZ and the 440G-EZ to compliment their existing safety switch range.
The 444G-EZ electromagnetic safety switch is a cost-effective interlock solution that combines a power to lock magnetic locking function featuring a 500N holding force.
The 440G-EZ features a low profile housing design with multiple mounting and connection options. To simplify installation, troubleshooting and maintenance the switch offers on-board LED diagnostics indicating switching status as well as when the status of the output switching devices (OSSD’s) are locked or unlocked.
In addition to the 440G-EZ Rockwell have also launched the 440G-MZ guard locking switch which is suitable for use with many types of guard doors including doors for full body access. These guard locking switches are available in power to lock or power to unlock options with a holding force of 2500N.
Three actuator entry points allow for flexible mounting on hinged or sliding doors. Highly visible wrap-around 270 degree diagnostic LED’s simplify installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
The 440G-LZ can operate as a standalone device or can be connected to a Guardlink system because of its embedded Guardlink functionality. Guardlink is a communications protocol that links multiple Rockwell safety devices to an ethernet/IP controls platform, reducing wiring, simplifying installation and providing advanced diagnostic information.
